234 million Americans are using mobile devices

According to a study by comscore, a total of 234 million Americans use mobile devices. The study found Samsung to be the top handset manufacturer with 25.5% marketshare. LG comes in second with 20.6% marketshare, followed by Motorola with a 13.6% share. Meanwhile Apple accounted for a 10.8% share of mobile subscribers, while RIM was found to have a 6.6% share of the market.


Connected TV sales outpace games consoles

For the first time ever worldwide sales of connected TVs will likely exceed that of games consoles for the first time by the end of 2011.
