In order to reach our goals, we’re looking to hire a Media Planner to join our rapidly growing LivingSocial Deals business unit, based in Dubai, UAE. The Media Planner role is responsible for optimizations within selling areas and leveraging consumer intuition to ensure LivingSocial delivers the best product and pricing mix to our customers.

Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and assess content suitability
• Gain an understanding of market values and optimal configurations to ensure quality
• Be able to use consumer behavior understanding as well as historical data as a decision making tool
• Gain a thorough understanding of the population and social scene through collaboration with local LivingSocial representatives
• Work with the local sales team to provide support
Skills

• Bachelor's degree
• At least 1 year of related work experience
• Working knowledge in marketing and/or advertising industry (preferred)
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, interpersonal and communications skills
• Ability to work independently, possess effective time management skills, and excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Familiarity with browser based tools preferred
• Demonstrate strong quantitative and qualitative abilities with a natural curiosity and a desire to learn
• Show a keen eye for detail and organization while being outgoing, friendly and high energy
• Posses grasp of social media
• Have a keen understanding of consumer value

Of these registered users, some were shopping online for the very first time. “With the exceptions of ordering food and apparels, which you have to try on, most other goods can be purchased without being present in a shop.
