Since Adobe announced it would no longer develop Flash Player for mobile devices on Wednesday, many have been wondering if Steve Jobs' objection to its use had something to do with its demise. According to Jobs' biographer Walter Isaacson, Jobs said Flash was "a spaghetti-ball piece of technology that has lousy performance and really bad security problems".

Consumers with the new Pulse visual news reader app, can now read reports from Al Jazeera English by over five million iPad, iPhone, and Android smartphones and tablets. Al Jazeera English Front Page, Opinion, and Features are among the content now available to consumers via Pulse.

There’s now an option for Google+ users to upload address books to find and invite more friends to join the company’s brand new social networking service. As Vic Gundotra added shortly thereafter, this is a fairly big deal.
