Our client, a reputable luxury retail company, is currently seeking to recruit Brand Manager. You will be directly reporting to the Division ManagerDuties and Responsibilities Follow relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions to ensure that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner and business targets are achieved. Ensure that all relevant guidelines, standard operating procedures and instructions agreed on with Principals are communicated to and followed by all members of the retail and sales department to achieve compliance and good feedback from Principals. Lead relationships with assigned brand principals and be responsible for all direct contact and interaction with Principals in order to facilitate information flow. Interact with principals in order understand their rules and procedures as well as nuances of the brand to replicate them in the region under the aegis of the company. Contribute to the setting of sales targets related to brand, with division head, by providing inputs related to trends and historical figures as well as understanding of the customer demographics for the brand, to help set realistic but stretching goals. Conduct periodic meetings with sales team for communication and coordination among all members, to receive updates on customer response, trends and performance, analyse competitor brands in order to feed back to the principals. Personally interact with high volume clients for brands in order to sustain key relationships. Liaise with the marketing team to take decisions on media selection for marketing, collaterals, teasers, inserts, direct mailers, direct marketing, related to brand, to ensure alignment with principals. Forecast and order quantities of various models as per analyses conducted to ensure the correct amount of stock is ordered and wastage or liquidation is minimised according to standards. Finalise on pricelists for brands under purview, in discussion with Division heads VP Sales and Retail, to ensure that the company's profits and brand image are kept in mind in pricing. Contribute to decision making on maximum discounts permissible on various models for brands under purview, in order to ensure target revenue and profitability is met. Liaise closely with display team to ensure that all visual merchandising in all boutiques, MBOs and retail outlets (as applicable) is consistent with the guidelines of brands. Conduct periodic meetings with display manager to update on guidelines and plans received from principal. Handle issues escalated from team and if required, direct them to the relevant corporate department for efficient resolution and to ensure performance and staff satisfaction. Provide required training to all members of team as per level and feedback from manager to ensure the team is fully skilled and equipped to serve customers well and meet targets.
