The Role

A leading global producer of chemicals is looking for an marketing communications specialist to sit within a specific business unit of their Dubai office.

The role on a day-to-day basis will involve the following key responsibilities:

Conduct market research and analyze market trends, as well as message mapping to support key marketing communications activities, including presentations, speeches and promotional material.

Maintain relationships with key media and press contacts, in addition to preparing a press engagement plan.

Write all external literature needed for the Middle East and Africa

Engage with multiple internal and external stakeholders across the regions

The successful candidate should have excellent business to business marketing experience and have a strategic focus. Essential experience includes planning and implementing all written communications including press releases, external communications or publications for external audiences. You should also have the gravitas to regularly act as spokesperson on behalf of the organisation. The successful candidate will possess a degree in marketing, journalism or mass communications and an excellent command of both written and spoken English. Arabic and French speaking / writing skills are also ideal.
