Job Summary

The Role

Job Purpose:
To ensure business objectives and strategic goals are met through the development, adoption and
implementation of marketing strategies and plans related to my client’s Media products and services in
order to maximize current business opportunities as well as commercialize new business opportunities.

Principal Accountabilities:
(a) Manages the development of market, strategic and operating plans for the Media product line.
(b) Develops and executes my client’s Media products and services’ major business programs involving
product & market strategy, distribution, pricing, communications and promotions to be included in the
Commercial division's overall market/product plans.
(c) Defines research outcomes necessary to support my client’s Media market/product plan.
(d) Identifies and recommends new business development opportunities for my client’s new and existing
Media products, including analysis and interpretation of market segments, business trends and
identification of customers' specific needs.
(e) Works with relevant departments to establish and manage my client’s Media products development process with appropriate management review.
(f) Develops implementation plans/schedules for introducing new or improved Media products, including new product introduction program.
(g) In relation to my client’s Media products, projects new product sales/profits, prepares and allocates
financial resources to programs/products within forecasted guidelines and regulates expenditures.
(h) Analyzes and interprets changing Media market/industry dynamics and trends to determine the effect on product lines.
(i) Develops and expands global customer base by increasing knowledge of all facets of the marketplace,
and analyzing competitive information and marketing intelligence.
Requirements

Knowledge Skills and Experience:
(a) Proven marketing development track record and over 10 years of experience mainly in brand
development and execution, new market and business development, project management and global
marketing leadership experience.
(b) Sound knowledge of satellite communication needs of the Media industry.
(c) Experience in the Satellite Telecommunication/Telecom and Media industries.
(d) Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Marketing.
(e) Strong collaboration and team management skills.
(f) Strong written and verbal communications skills.
