Job Description
Our client, a multinational conferencing and exhibitions business established in the 1970’s, is looking to recruit a Conference Director. They are now recognised as the world's largest Human Capital Company with a global network of 45 businesses and over 100 operating units.
Based in Dubai, and reporting to the Divisional Director, you will be responsible for producing, leading and managing the successful planning and execution of the portfolio of events as assigned, ensuring the growth on all events within varying industry sectors achieving divisional revenue and profit targets. The successful candidate will be coaching, mentoring and managing conference producers through the production process. This will involve suggesting, researching and developing the plan for a whole annual cycle of events- co-developing the marketing strategy for the planned cycle of events on an annual basis.
As the successful candidate you will have a minimum of 2-3 years senior conference production experience with demonstrated evidence of programme production and team management, experience of growing and developing new markets and products with the ability to assess the viability of conference topics through conducting programmes and market research – a strong commercial sense is desirable. You must be an effective communicator, with strong analytical and influencing skills.

Job Description
Based in Dubai the successful candidate will be corresponding in a professional manner with high-level speakers once they have confirmed their participation at an event and coordinating their travel & accommodation arrangements, obtaining their course materials and their audio-visual and payment requirements. This is a perfect opportunity for the right individual to grow within a fun, successful team.
As the successful candidate you will have 1– 2 years experience in events and thorough experience in an office environment where working accurately and to deadlines is a prerequisite. You must possess excellent communication skills and have the flexibility to work on strategic projects as well as day to day operational work. Fluent written and oral English is a must, Arabic will be an advantage. Finally you should have a passion for advertising, PR, events and production.

· Expert level skills in building dynamic, interactive web applications using AS 2.0 & 3.0, including: OOP, functions, arrays, prototyping, sending and loading XML, remoting, SOAP based webservices, coding in multiple levels, etc.
· Candidates with a strong portfolio of work showing artistic and technical ability.
· Great eye for motion, design, typography

Good To Have:
· Experience with progressive and streaming Flash Video.
