Leading figures from the global media industry gave thought-provoking speeches at Mindshare's second annual Saudi Arabia Media Summit, held in Riyadh on 8th May. The speakers included Mick Pilsworth from Motive Television, John Wilpers from Innovation Consulting, Alex Meisl from Sponge, Will Hutson from Carrot Creative, Ahmed Nassef from Yahoo! Maktoob, Norm Johnston from Mindshare Worldwide and Steve Ridley from Kinetic Worldwide.



AMEinfo reports that Mindshare Middle East has been named by Saudi beverage and confectionery firm Aujan Industries as its new media agency. Aujan's media account was handled previously by Media Insight for three years, until last November when Aujan called a review citing the imminent expiration of the contract.

Sponsored by Yahoo! Maktoob and Choueiri Group, Mindshare will be presenting the Media Summit 2010, a one-day forum that will be held on October 13th, 2010 in Dubai. The forum intends to offer a deeper understanding in consumer communication across the world. The one-day forum will also embark upon the rise of new digital technologies and the transference of analogue media channels to digital formats, and providing advertisers with amazing opportunities and intriguing new business challenges.
