Job Description
The Community Manager is responsible for ensuring active and engaged social communities (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google+, Tumblr, etc.) by creating and managing editorial content calendars, monitoring online conversations and participating in those conversations to build brand product visibility and support brand awareness and engagement at local market level.
Ideally, someone interested or experienced in the beauty and luxury industry.
Skills
*Bi-lingual is a must - (English / Arabic) - read, write, speak fluently
*Tri-lingual is a plus (English/Arabic/French)
*Good creative writing skills - able to communicate information and ideas in written format
*Willingness to work outside of the traditional 9am-6pm, Sun-Thurs working hours to post content / respond to community members / monitor social media platforms and attend blogger events
*Monitoring / analytical skills - feedback insights and monitor effectiveness of activities, growth of community and engagement
*Able to work under pressure and multi task
*Able to work in a fast paced environment - must be quick off the mark and be able to respond immediately to situations
*Keep up to date with tools, trends and applications
*Good interpersonal skills and can handle a range of personalities - able to liaise with extract information from multiple client / agency functions
