Next Issue Media, a group of publishers that includes Condé Nast, Hearst, Meredith, Time Inc. and News Corporation, has announced the release of their all-inclusive magazine tablet application, which will include 32 magazines like The New Yorker, Time, Vanity Fair, Better Homes and Gardens, Elle, Esquire, Wired, Fortune, People, Real Simple and Sports Illustrated. After more than two years of preparation, the group of publishers is ready to release the app, which gives readers the chance to purchase all their magazines for a monthly rate.

James Murdoch, deputy chief operating officer, has relinquished his position as executive chairman of News International, its UK publishing unit," News Corp said in a statement. "Tom Mockridge, chief executive officer of News International, will continue in his post and will report to News Corporation president and COO [chief operating officer] Chase Carey."
