Google’s head of marketing for the Middle East and North Africa, Wael Ghonim, who was seen being snatched and arrested by men in plainclothes during the protests in Cairo, and still missing for more than a week now, is to be released at 4 p.m today, Monday, according to two Egyptian television networks (OTV and state-run Nile TV). Egyptian businessman Naguib Sawiris told OTV that he has been assured by Egyptian Vice President, Omar Suleiman that Ghonim would be released.
