OMD has won several Gemas Effies this year at the annual award ceremony .The Gemas Effie MENA Awards saw the regional network build on its impressive track record at the event by winning 12 awards. In 2010, it had won six and five the year before.

PepsiCo. Inc has recently filed a complaint with World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) to get the domain name Bebsi.com, claiming that this is not just a typo of Pepsi, but it is actually an Arabic way of saying Pepsi. Pepsi has filed so many cases before this one and hasn’t lost one. Its biggest win was for PepsiCola.com, which it won in a 2001 National Arbitration Forum case.
