Maktoob Business reports that The Sunday Times was removed from shelves in the United Arab Emirates by the government on Sunday 29 November, amid 'offensive' reporting of Dubai's debt problems. The National Media Council ordered the paper blocked by distributors without providing a reason. But, The Times was back on shelves on Monday 30 November.
The Times and The Sunday Times, two of the most respected and influential newspapers in the world, will publish their international editions in the Middle East starting on May 21.
