Arab News reports that the Middle East Broadcasting Center (MBC) has made a decision to not telecast tobacco advertisements worth SR500 million. This was announced by Saudi Health Minister Hamad Al-Manie. Apparantly, tobacco companies tried to talk him out of the decision and offered to pay more money.
