A new survey from Yahoo! Maktoob Research on user behavior in the Middle East and North Africa reveals 41% of respondents think ‘on-the-go’ connectivity frequently helps to solve or avoid disagreements with friends and family. Over 40% of those surveyed use a personal device to avoid an awkward social situation. Findings also show that across all technology platforms, females are significantly less likely to hide behind technology to avoid conflict.
