Benefiting from the name of the newspaper, Al Balad (The country), an ear panel was booked as a continuation of the publication logo on the anniversary campaign launch date creating a bold statement “The Country is Celebrating”. th1ng and th2ng, the award-winning production partners to the film, television and advertising industries, are launching in the Middle East.
Through a partnership with IMC, part of the Al Fahim Group, th1ng and th2ng will gain an immediate presence in the Middle East with offices in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Doha and Muscat.
The venture brings the award-winning creative and production capabilities of th1ng and th2ng to clients and their agencies across the Gulf.

The th1ng group has been producing high quality work for film, television, web and events since 2003. Working in all types of media, th1ng focuses on 2D/3D animation and graphics. th2ng specialises in live action.
Gulf-based clients and agencies will be able to draw exclusively upon the experience and talent of 25 directors and designers, alongside production and support staff, full-time editors, creative and compositing teams to realise their advertising, promotional and branding projects. th1ng / th2ng will provide all production and post-production from its purpose-built studios in Soho, London. The studios provide a comprehensive post-production offer, from compositing to full 3DCGI.

The arrival of th1ng / th2ng in the region has resulted in commissions from Memac Ogilvy for ACDelco and Team Y&R for Rani.
th2ng has directed and produced TV commercials for Team Y&R’s Dubai offer to promote Rani, the leading juice drinks brand with real fruit pieces in the Middle East. Mixing live-action film and 3D animation ( from th1ng), gigantic hyper-real Rani fruit pop up magically from behind buildings, cars and such like within a sun-kissed Beirut setting, before gently floating skywards to the delight of people passing by. The ads are currently airing across the region.
th1ng is currently directing a new commercial to reinforce ACDelco’s global leadership in automotive replacement parts for airing at the F1 Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi.
The featured campaign by Team Y&R Beirut promotes the Autumn/Winter 2009 collection at Harvey Nichols. ‘The campaign is inspired by the season’s trends which are iconic, edgy and really expresses character. We wanted the work to reflect that. We created life-sized Voodoo dolls and clothed them in show-stoppers from the season. Rewarding the Harvey Nichols’ shoppers with the thought that they will be envied to a ridiculous extent.’ Also see Blonde and Redhead.

A launch campaign for the well known British toy store, Hamleys, which features the location of the store "Mecca Street in Amman' as a teaser that says: "Mecca Street The Way You See It", then's followed by four eye-catching revealers saying "Mecca Street, The Way Your Kids See It". There's a Candy Town theme and a Forest theme, an Undersea theme and a Robots theme.
