Twofour54 tadreeb, the media training academy, has acquired the Dubai business of the SAE Institute, the world's largest network of media training academies. As part of the deal, Twofour54 tadreeb has also entered into a long term co-operation agreement, which will enable it to access the Institute's internationally accredited Diploma and Bachelor Degree programmes.

The Daily Star has reported that the Inquirer Award, an event promoting media development and journalism training in Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, Jordan and Iraq, funded by the British Commonwealth and Foreign Office, has announced Lebanon as the biggest winner among a total of 154 print articles, 39 television reports and 24 photojournalists participating in the competition.
