Since our client’s inception in 1976, they have successfully transformed from a small flour mill to a technologically advanced, world-scale, multi-product, manufacturing enterprise. With a turnover of over one billion dollars and plants operating in the UAE & five overseas locations, it is one of the largest foods manufacturing and marketing businesses in the Gulf.
Due to regional growth they are now looking to recruit a Trade Marketing Manager to develop trade marketing programs targeted at retailers, wholesalers and distributors that resell their products to consumers, and deliver the category strategy across all customers. Coordinate and implement marketing programs that increase brand presence and market share, and improve customer satisfaction. Work closely with the sales team to ensure that trade marketing strategies are aligned with sales objectives and revenue targets.
Principal Accountabilities will include:
• Translate brand and trade strategies into detailed action plans and ensure effective implementation, including distribution plan and programs, trade segmentation, key account and category management, in line with KPIs. Monitor progress and recommends corrective action where necessary.
• Allocate the spending by geography & across channels in order to meet brand objectives, track performance and budgets against plan and take corrective action where necessary. Lead consistent BTL programs development and effectiveness evaluation, monitor results against KPIs and recommend corrective actions.
• Plan and implement growth programs with Distributor, and analyze and present Retail Audit updates to Distributor and implement.
• Contribute to annual sales plan through Distributors plans, including objectives for coverage, volume, distribution, displays and execution excellence.
• Conduct market visits to branches/regions and check availability, visibility, promotion execution, new launches of company in the market.
• Prepare and maintain Promotion Activity Calendar by brand in line with overall brand target to be shared with distributor and top customers.
Requirements
Skills & Experience required:
• 4-6 years experience in a similar position in the FMCG sector, preferably food.
• Bachelor's Degree in business related discipline.
• Channel development experience.
• Good knowledge of the UAE Market.
• Fluency in both spoken and written English is essential
