The International Public Relations Association (IPRA) will be hosting the 20th Public Relations World Congress on February 29th – March 2nd, 2012 in Dubai. This is the first time that this event will be held in the Middle East, which marks the evolution of the region as a key player in the PR industry internationally, According to TradeArabia.

TradeArabia reports that du telecommunications has announced a new broadcast services deal with Turner Broadcasting System (TBS) at Gitex in Dubai. This new partnership follows Turner’s launch of a regionally dedicated Cartoon Network Arabia channel earlier this month. The tie-up will provide broadcast services that will extend Turner Broadcasting System’s reach to the Middle East on two different satellite platforms, Nilesat and Arabsat Badr 6 Satellites.

A key partnership agreement has been signed between the Bahrain World Trade Center and Gulf Media International, whereby Gulf Media International will be handling and managing all advertising and promotional opportunities within the Bahrain World Trade Center and Moda Mall premises.
