Aspiring Lebanese filmmakers attended exclusive filmmaking workshop hosted by Alaa Karkouti and supported by Lebanese filmmaker Nadeem Mashlawee organised by TROPFEST Arabia in Beirut. The workshops are part of a regional tour across the Middle East and aim to give participants key hints and tips on making a successful short film for inclusion in the second annual TROPFEST Arabia, which will take place in October this year. TROPFEST Arabia Ambassador, Lebanese director Amin Dora and TROPFEST Arabia 2011 finalist, Nadim Laham shared insights on how TROPFEST Arabia impacted their lives and talked to participants about how to create a successful TROPFEST Arabia short film.

Aspiring Emirati and Arab filmmakers attended exclusive filmmaking workshops in Dubai and Abu Dhabi organised by Tropfest Arabia. The workshops are part of a regional tour across the Middle East and aim to give participants key hints and tips on making a successful short film for inclusion in the second annual Tropfest Arabia, which will take place in October this year.

On behalf of Tropfest Arabia, Arab film analyst Alaa Karkouti will host a workshop on short filmmaking and provide tips on how to make a successful Tropfest Arabia short film in Amman on May 14th, supported by Jordanian filmmaker Rula Nasser.



TROPFEST Arabia, one of the world's most foremost short film festivals will be bringing its support to leading film personalities and filmmakers this year in the Middle East, held in Abu Dhabi. The festival has been commerically successful in attracting almost 150,000 people with a live television audience of over one million every year.
